The Midva Lofi Ensemble is the project of pianist and producer Nils Boyny, aka MIDVA. A fixture on the crossover jazz/electronica scene, most notably as part of the Omezis collective (Emile Londonien, Cheap House, Acousmatics...), he released his first solo EP in December 2022 under the pseudonym Midva, as well as a series of singles. Characterized by a unique instrumentarium, the band creates pieces with pared-down melodies, leaving plenty of room for improvisation and spontaneity.
