Our team
Jazz à la Petite France is a festival organized by Sturm Production.
Born in September 2020 from the COVID-19 pandemic and its long months without audiences, concerts, and human and artistic exchanges, Sturm Production is non-profit organisation that promotes the (re-)discovery of female musical heritage and gender equality in the music sector.
"Sturm" means "storm" in Alsatian and in German.
We aim to put artists back at the heart of our society and public spaces, to create spaces for reflection and laying the foundation of a more equitable post-COVID society, to (re)imagine how we live together in a world marked by lockdowns and isolation. The ongoing task of building a more fair and balanced world requires a strategy that considers women, our planet, and all those othered within the dominant paradigm.
